After graduating from hotel school, my career in hospitality started in Mumbai at the Taj Group of Hotels, Resorts & Palaces, and then at Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts in San Francisco. These experiences gave me a chance to cover every possible department in a hotel and truly understand how hotels operate.
My career in hospitality veered toward technology while I was in San Francisco (Silicon Valley Effect). I decided to move into online revenue, distribution and optimization technology services. This was a life-changing experience. I was in a brand new world. I took a deep dive and instantly loved it.
As CEO of Evision, I spend my time identifying problems, deciphering analytics, and turning around underperforming assets. Whether I’m talking to a prospective client or a long-standing hotel partner, I like to bring a revenue-focused action plan that goes beyond rote marketing and takes the hotel to the next level.
I also deliver lectures, workshops and seminars on digital marketing and revenue optimization worldwide, at every possible opportunity. The more I speak, the more I hope to show hoteliers and asset owners that understanding the online marketplace and technology is not that intimidating. I love working with hospitality groups and providing them with the knowledge they need to make smart decisions.
Hotel Marketing & Ecommerce Specialist
I began my online career as an SEO Copywriter. While writing copy, I began to tinker with paid search and instantly became fascinated with its sheer marketing power. Since then, I’ve been expanding my knowledge base through working with a wide range of clients (both large and small) in a variety of different industries, but with a strong focus on hospitality and travel.
As Chief Marketing Officer of Evision, my main focus is to develop and refine the products and services we offer our clients, as well as to help educate the travel and hospitality industry about emerging markets and new technologies as they relate to online marketing and revenue.
I am extremely fortunate to work with a VERY talented group of people, all hand-picked by the three of us. I think it’s awesome that we are able to learn from one another on a daily basis…it’s very inspirational and helps to keep our web strategies rock solid!
Digital Marketing & Creative Specialist
As Managing Director of Evision, I oversee business operations, our digital marketing department, and all creative projects for our clients and our own business. I recruit, train and supervise web designers/developers, software developers, graphic designers, content writers, SEO and PPC experts, and office/accounting staff. On the client side, I specialize in on-site search engine optimization strategy and content development, in addition to project management and workflow.
I spent the first 15 years of my career as an editor and ultimately a departmental director, mastering medical and technical content, wrangling projects of all sizes, and collaborating with creative teams. I have spent the last eight years as Evision’s owner, immersed in the pursuit of advancing best practices for internet marketing and revenue optimization for hotels. My honed skills as a department head and marketing expert have transferred well to the digital environment: my attention to detail has served us well whether we are tackling business issues, creative endeavors, or client projects in the internet sphere.
Our Asset Management specialists have a combined 30 years of global experience working for the top 5 hotel groups (Accor, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG and Starwood) in all the key functions, including Sales and Marketing, Revenue Management, Distribution, Feasibility, Development Planning, and Asset Management.

I am currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of CASAM Hospitality, an asset management and consulting firm that provides customized solutions to maximize the long-term value of hospitality assets. My focus is the revenue and distribution strategy and operations of the assets we manage or consult with. Combining this with the finance, investment and development planning background of Stephane, we provide a 360° perspective to enhance the profitability of an asset over the short-, medium- and long-term.
Prior to founding CASAM, I was the Senior Director of Operations – South Asia with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, responsible for the Pre-Opening and Operations of the group’s 40+ hotels in India and South Asia. I also held senior management roles in Sales and Marketing as Director of Revenue Management for Asia Pacific for Starwood Hotels and Resorts; Corporate Revenue Manager for Hyatt International Hotels; and Revenue Manager, Southeast Asia for Hyatt for Hyatt International Hotels, as part of a 15-year professional career.

My primary background consists of development finance, strategy planning, feasibility study, and investment analysis for hospitality projects. Together with Vivek, who focuses on distribution, sales, revenue and operations, we are a formidable team, equipped to effectively manage communication with all key stakeholders, and ultimately add greater value when comprehensively addressing hotel ownership issues impacting profitability.
Before co-founding CASAM Hospitality, I began my 15-year professional career based in Singapore, as a senior consultant with Horwath HTL. I then joined InterContinental Hotels Group (“IHG”) as Director of Development Planning for Asia Pacific. Next I moved to Hilton Worldwide’s regional head office to assume the role of Senior Director, Feasibility and Investment Analysis for the Middle East and Asia Pacific. My last role preceding CASAM Hospitality was Managing Director for Revenue Management Solutions (“RMS”), providing Pricing, Real Estate and Strategic Marketing services to more than 7,500 units operated by leading global quick service restaurant (“QSR”) chains across the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
